Driving: From 580, get off at the University Ave. exit. Go up (east)
on University Ave. until you get to Shattuck Ave (near the top of
University.) Take a left on Shattuck, go 3 blocks to 1685 Shattuck Ave, Poulet is on the right, at the corner of Virginia.

Bart: Get off at the Berkeley exit on the Richmond line. When you
get out of the station you will be on Shattuck Ave, Poulet is six blocks
north on the corner of Virginia.

Poulet was co-founded in 1979 by Marilyn Rinzler and Bruce Aidells. Inspired by Marilyn who was a single parent of two, Poulet began as
take-out only, designed for people who didn't have the time to cook and wanted to take home fresh, healthy, gourmet food. We have always had
a simple philosophy, food is very basic, lets enjoy it. For over 30 years
Poulet has remained true to this philosophy which may be why people
have been coming back for all these years. The food world may have changed since 1979, but Poulet's founding ideas have never gone
out of fashion.
